Born in Carteret, New Jersey, Loren was classically trained attending “Du Cret School of the Arts”, located in
Plainfield, New Jersey
. There she graduated with a degree in Fine Art. She furthered her education by attending the “National Academy of Fine Arts & Design” and later at the “Art Students League”, both located in
New York City
.
Loren is an award winning artist best noted for her bold still life paintings, vivid floral compositions, luscious fruits & vegetables and dramatic life drawings. She has won numerous awards in regional juried competitions, and has participated in national shows where her work has been highly regarded as well.
